The Friends of Court Hey
Park engaged Ron Gurney of Archaeological Excavation Services to make the
geophysical survey of the proposed dig site.
A great deal of the original hall was now covered by undergrowth and the National
Wildflower Centre, and so only a section of the hall could be excavated.
